A Father's Vision

How It Works

The process is designed to be understandable from the beginning: submit an application, complete a phone screen, confirm fit and move-in details, then enter a structured recovery community with clear expectations and support.

What happens after move-in?

Guests participate in a structured recovery community that may include house meetings, assigned responsibilities, peer accountability, recovery expectations, house mentor support, and connection to practical services.

Common questions

Is AFV a treatment center?

No. AFV provides recovery housing and practical support, not detoxification, inpatient treatment, or hospital care.

Do I have to send medical records online?

No. Do not send diagnoses, medication information, treatment records, or other medical records through public website forms.

How much is the deposit?

The standard move-in deposit is $200 for every AFV-managed home.

Can a professional refer someone?

Yes. Families, courts, treatment programs, hospitals, social-service organizations, recovery professionals, and other referral sources can start a referral conversation through the referral page.

Are private options available?

Yes. Some residences are intentionally not publicly identified and are discussed only through an approved confidential inquiry process.
