A Father's Vision

Frequently Asked Questions

These answers cover the questions guests, families, referral partners, and donors most often need before taking the next step with A Father’s Vision.

Who is AFV recovery housing for?

AFV serves adults seeking structured recovery housing. Housing type, current availability, location fit, and other admission considerations are confirmed during the application and screening process.

How do I apply?

Start with the Guest Application. After submission, AFV may complete a telephone screen, confirm fit and availability, discuss fees and expectations, and plan move-in when appropriate. Submitting an application does not guarantee admission or a specific bed.

What are the weekly fees and deposit?

Weekly fees vary by market and are shown on the Our Homes page. AFV currently uses a standard $200 move-in deposit for managed homes. Fees and availability should always be confirmed during intake.

What support is available?

Depending on need and availability, AFV provides or coordinates recovery accountability, peer support, recovery coaching, non-clinical case management and resource navigation, employment support, GED and education support, and connections to licensed outside clinical providers.

Does AFV provide therapy or clinical treatment?

AFV recovery housing is not detoxification, hospital care, emergency care, or licensed clinical treatment. Therapy, counseling, behavioral-health care, and substance-use treatment are provided through appropriately licensed outside providers when clinical care is needed.

Can a family member or professional refer someone?

Yes. Families and referral professionals can begin through Families & Referral Partners. General referral inquiries should not include full medical, treatment, medication, diagnosis, laboratory, or court records.

Are all house addresses public?

No. Some residences are intentionally kept private for safety and discretion. Exact private-property details are shared only through an appropriate approved inquiry process.

What information does the Guest Application request?

The current embedded application is used for admissions and placement screening and may request contact information, housing preferences, substance-use screening information, treatment-program details, criminal-history categories, probation, and parole status. Applicants should answer the questions the application requires, but should not upload or paste full records unless AFV provides an approved secure method.

What if I need a private housing option?

Use the Confidential Housing page to start a general inquiry. Do not send medical or treatment records through that public inquiry form.

How can I support AFV?

You can donate or get involved through property opportunities, employment partnerships, furnishings and practical support, community partnerships, and other mission-aligned support.

Are all website photos of actual AFV guests and residences?

No. AFV uses selected authentic home photography along with clearly labeled representative or illustrative imagery. To protect privacy, some images may use models, representative spaces, composites, or digitally altered identifying features. Illustrative images do not necessarily depict a specific AFV guest or residence.

Can I buy from the AFV Store now?

Yes. AFV merchandise is offered through the separate AFV Zeffy Mission Store. Store purchases are merchandise purchases, while charitable donations continue through the separate AFV Zeffy donation form. Commercial operator resources and consulting are handled separately by PM Prosperity LLC outside the AFV website.
